REFLECTION

This is already my most awaited moment. The fourth grading period and after this, it will already be our graduation. I am very happy but at the same time, I can also feel sadness. This will be the time that those people who became part of my life in high school and me will go on our separate ways for our dreams and future. Sad to say because you also don't know when will you see each other again.

I've through a lot to finally graduate in high school. This is just another step coming closer for my dreams. And I thank very much those people who helped in molding my personality. My teachers who became my second parents, my friends who were like brothers and sisters to me. The things they taught me not only lessons in school but also in life. They became an inspiration for me.

I may not be the perfect student and friend for them but those experiences that we've shared together will always be treasured. I am not who I am now if it is not because of them. I will not say"goodbye." Instead I want to say "see you" in the future.

MY DREAM MY FUTURE

Since I was a kid, I've been dreaming of so many things. I dreamed to be a teacher, doctor, accountant, businesswoman, etc. I wanted to do so many things. I wanted to do all these things at the same time. And these dreams served as my inspiration to be diligent in my studies to achieve all my dreams. But I know that this will be hard so I decided to choose one of these. Which of these do I really want.

It's hard for me to choose because I want all of this It became a battle between heart and mind. But at the end, I decided to pursue accountancy. My journey by achieving  my dream will be very hard but I will take all the risks for the sake of my future. This is what I want.

CHANGE: IT STARTS WITH ME

They say that everything change. Nothing is permanent in this world except change.

We are aware that our country is experiencing so many problems. There are wars, that many people were being killed, corruption, different kinds of crime and many  ore. The PEACE that we've been dreaming of is now rare. Every corner of the world, you can hardly find peace. As a youth, how can we prevent these scenarios and start to create peace?

Now is the time for change. As what Dr. Jose Rizal said, " Youth is the hope of the fatherland." The change should star from us young people. We should be responsible enough. We should start creating peace within ourselves. Not only for us but also for the future generations.

KANNAWIDAN

Every year, the province of Ilocos Sur celebrates some festivals. One of these festivals is the Kannawidan Festival which usually starts during the end of January and ends at February.

Kannawidan festival depicts the culture of the Ilocanos. This festival is actually participated by most Ilocanos like the provincial officials, students, teachers, etc. During the festival, many different contests, shows, rides and other kinds of enjoyment were served for the people. Ilocano foods and products are also available for visitors. During shows, the province are also inviting some artists and bands to entertain the people. There were also beauty pageants like the search for Ms. Saniata.

REFLECTION

As of now, the third grading period for me is the easiest yet the hardest grading period for ICT this school year. Easy because it's just easy for me to understand the lesson. But it's also hard because in every activity, you need to type so many words that takes time to make it.

Even though I wasn't able to attend some classes with my ICT period, I still make sure that I've made my activities. I can say that I improved my time management for ICT this time.

NEW YEAR, NEW ME

Things change. People change. Everything around us change. Some change for the better and some for the worse.

This year has been a great year for me. Many new great experiences and memories, new lessons and knowledge that I learned, and I also met new friends. Though I also encountered many problems and struggles, I was still able to face it with those people surrounding me.

The year 2014 had passed. And now, it's the time for us to meet the new year 2015. I'm sure this year will give us more new experiences and memories.

As the year changes, many of us also wants a change from their selves. For me, I want to change for the better. I want a change mentally, socially, emotionally and spiritually.

This year, I will be more responsible with my studies. I also want to lessen myself from being moody and one of my goal for this year is to make a lot of new friends. I will also go now to church punctually.

THE REAL ESSENCE OF CHRISTMAS

The cool breeze of December, children singing Christmas carols, people putting decorations inside and outside their houses, and of course, those people buying gifts for their love ones. This shows that the time has come again. It's Christmas time!

Usually, when Christmas is near, many people are already getting busy buying gifts for their love ones and decorating their houses with Christmas decorations. Children are singing Christmas carols from house to house and some are already buying foods for the noche buena.

Many are misinterpreting the real essence of Christmas. For them, Christmas is the time for family gathering, gift giving, buying expensive things, decorating and Santa Claus coming.

Do you know the song Give Love on Christmas Day? This song tells what should be done on Christmas. It is not about giving gifts but its the time for us to forgive and love each other. To celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ who was born to save us. By praising him and loving not only oyr families and friends but also our enemies to forgive them.
